First Snow

First Snow captures the quiet threshold where autumn gives way to winter, where brilliance fades into silence. A mountainside is gently veiled in snow, its ridgeline softened by cloud and distance. Below, a stand of golden trees clings to the slope, their colour glowing against the cold, as if holding onto something already slipping away.
